Field to Fixture is a research-driven lighting study exploring localized production and ecological storytelling through material reuse and biological systems. The work reinterprets invasive plant species and industrial byproducts as constructive materials, combining bio-composites, reclaimed wood, and natural fibers into a cohesive lighting object. The project examines how design can respond to environmental disruption by transforming waste and overgrowth into functional, regenerative form.

Scope
Concept development, material research, prototyping, millwork detailing, and installation drawings.

Methods
Material experimentation, bio-composite casting, wood reprocessing, and low-impact fabrication techniques.
