Continuous Bend
Designer & Fabricator: Ashlí Marino Watson
Materials: Cold-formed steel | Perforated stainless steel
Methods: Diacro bending, folding, and welding
Continuous Bend is an experimental metal study exploring how rigid sheet materials can be manipulated into fluid, continuous geometries. Using controlled bending and forming techniques, the work investigates tight-radius curves, directional shifts, and structural transitions across multiple axes, challenging the conventional limitations of cold-formed steel.
Scope
Material exploration, metal forming studies, fabrication testing, and prototype development using Diacro bending equipment.
